Marlink will provide Thoresen Shipping with a hybrid network that combines VSAT and Starlink LEO services, ensuring high-speed, reliable connectivity. The system also includes backup services and advanced tools for network management and cybersecurity.
Using Marlink’s XChange platform, the hybrid network will feature software-defined application routing (SD-WAN) and Endpoint Detection for cyber protection. This setup allows seamless integration of various network types, including GEO, LEO, and MSS backup, ensuring maximum uptime, global coverage, and secure connectivity for both business and crew applications.
