MAERSK Line will increase rates US$25 per TEU and $50 per FEU from October 1 on cargo from North America to the Middle East, India and Pakistan. The company said the increase was needed to meet increased demand for North America to Middle East, Indian and Pakistani products.
In addition to these increases, some lanes have further increases due to increased costs for these areas.
