By embedding services within WeChat, customers can easily share data with colleagues and partners, while avoiding the need to download separate applications.
Marcel Kling, Lufthansa Cargo's Head of Digital Sales, stated that the airline is investing in solutions that create 'real value' for customers. He added that the WeChat platform brings services directly to one of the most important digital channels for Chinese users, making transactions simpler and more intuitive.
This offering strengthens Lufthansa Cargo's presence in China's digital landscape and provides significant advantages through mobile optimization. Customers benefit from efficient processes and intuitive operation, while the airline gains direct access to a large mobile user base.
Based on Lufthansa Cargo's existing API portfolio, the service is tailored for mobile devices and reflects the company's commitment to driving digitalization in the air cargo industry. Additional features are already under evaluation.
