Nizhny Novgorod, Russia based Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard (a company of United Shipbuilding Corporation) says it has delivered the second dry cargo carrier of Project RSD59 to shipping company Pola Rise. The ship named Pola Filofea was launched on 8 June 2018, underwent mooring and sea trials and delivered to the customer on 5 July 2018. The Pola Filofea is the second dry cargo carrier delivered to Pola Rise under a contract signed in December 2016 for construction of a series of five RSD59 ships. The first ship named Pola Makaria and delivered on 24 May 2018 is already in operation. According to the ship owner, the dry cargo carrier fully meets its operation requirements.
