Freightos partners with Korean Air for real-time rates and eBooking, enhancing digital freight solutions across major trade lanes.
Freightos has announced an integration with Korean Air, giving freight forwarders direct access to real-time rates, live capacity, and eBooking across major trade lanes, reported PR Newswire.
The agreement was signed at Korean Air's Shanghai office and unveiled during Air Cargo Shanghai 2026. The phased roll-out will cover key gateways from North America and Europe to Asia, expanding Korean Air's digital reach through Freightos' platform.
Freightos chief executive Pablo Pinillos stated that the partnership would improve efficiency and resilience by providing instant access to capacity and pricing. Joyce Tai, executive vice president for worldwide partnerships, called the deal a milestone for digital freight in Asia.
Korean Air executive vice president Jae Dong Eum emphasized that digitalization is vital for competitiveness, adding that the carrier aims to deliver a seamless customer experience. The airline operates a fleet of 166 aircraft, including 23 freighters, which are now connected directly to forwarders via Freightos.
The integration adds a streamlined digital channel alongside Korean Air's existing booking systems. Forwarders in activated regions can search, quote, and book shipments instantly through Freightos dashboards.
