    KENYA and Germany have signed a loan agreement worth KES35 billion (US$341.54 million) to be invested in various projects across Kenya under the Big 4 Agenda, revealed Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich. The government of Kenya is looking to empower the youth, women and people living with disabilities through a partnership that seeks to support Kenya with technical and financial cooperation.

    According to Mr Rotich, Kenya and Germany have finalised long-overdue negotiations that culminated in a partnership deal that will enable Kenyans access to German programmes in the country with utmost focus placed on the youth, reported Kenyan Broadcasting Corporation.

    Germany has promised to support Kenya in good governance and decentralisation, agriculture, irrigation, energy, health, climate change and promotion of youth employment.
