'K' Line has been named to the FTSE4Good Index Series for the fifth consecutive year, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and governance.

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd ('K' Line) has again been selected as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series, reported K Line. The shipping company has now been included for the fifth consecutive year and the 22nd time overall.

The carrier was also named to the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index for the ninth straight year and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index for the fifth year running. It has been part of both indices since their launch.

The indices are compiled by FTSE Russell, a unit of the London Stock Exchange Group. They measure the performance of companies with strong environmental, social, and governance practices and are used by investors to build responsible funds.

The FTSE4Good Index Series currently includes 1,211 companies from developed markets, of which 296 are Japanese, and 1,023 from emerging markets. The FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and Sector Relative Index comprise 478 and 670 Japanese firms, respectively, selected from the FTSE Japan All Cap Index.

'K' Line stated that sustainability management is a key priority and pledged to continue addressing climate change and other social challenges. The group aims to contribute to a sustainable society and enhance corporate value through its shipping operations.
