JAPAN's Ocean Network Express (ONE) recently held its official launch party at Singapore's Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel to announce the start of operations for the joint venture company that combines the container services of the MOL, NYK and 'K' Line from their new base in the Lion City. 'ONE is not only the coming together of three companies, but it's the coming together of different cultures and nationalities,' CEO Jeremy Nixon told the gathering in the presence of honoured guests Lam Pin Min, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Transportation and Japanese Ambassador Kenji Shinoda.
'Our slogan 'As ONE, we can' truly unifies people and ideas to form ONE team including customers and business partners, extending beyond the individual power and delivering the best services,' he said.
