    The combined newbuilding output of Japan's major 52 shipbuilders during December 2010 came to 28 ships of 1.2m GT, totally worth JPY125.1bn (US$112m).

    The combined newbuilding output of Japan's major 52 shipbuilders during December 2010 came to 28 ships of 1.2m GT, totally worth JPY125.1bn (US$112m). There were 71 ships of 2.3m GT started to be built, according to Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). The delivered 28 ships include 2 domestic ships and 26 export ship.
