The International Shipsuppliers & Services Association (ISSA) has expressed serious concerns regarding the impact of escalating conflicts in the Middle East on the maritime sector. The organization stated that it shares the worries expressed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) due to attacks on seafarers in the region and the resulting loss of life.
In a statement made by ISSA, it was emphasized that the safety of ship suppliers, shipowners, and the employees of ship management companies is the top priority.

The association urged its members to rely only on verified official information, conduct regular risk assessments, and maintain a consistently high level of vigilance while operating in the region.
The statement indicated that ship suppliers and crews in the Middle East are at risk of injury or more serious consequences due to ongoing attacks.
