AIR and ST Engineering launch the DrN-600 eVTOL, a game-changer for European air cargo, designed for autonomous logistics and regulatory compliance.

Israeli start-up AIR and Singapore's ST Engineering have unveiled the DrN-600, a fully electric eVTOL designed to meet European Union Aviation Safety Agency standards, reports Tel Aviv's Israel Defense.

The 600-kilogram aircraft marks a shift from concept to commercial deployment in autonomous logistics. It was presented at the Singapore Airshow as part of a strategic partnership aimed at reshaping the European air cargo market.

The DrN-600 builds on the piloted AIR ONE platform and incorporates ST Engineering's expertise in unmanned systems. The collaboration is intended to help operators gain experience with electric supply chains while meeting strict regulatory requirements.

Optimized for short- to medium-range missions, the aircraft can carry up to 100 kilograms of cargo. Its low maintenance costs and ability to operate in areas with limited infrastructure make it suitable for transporting medical supplies, spare parts, and urgent cargo to remote destinations.

The partnership also integrates the DroNet ground control system, providing fleet management and security to ensure safe autonomous operations.
