FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 1.8 million TEU in May, representing a year-on-year decline of 10.5 per cent from 2.1 million TEU in May last year.
Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 1.4 per cent increase in container movement in May, having handled 2.8 million TEU compared to 2.7 million TEU in May last year.
