The 'Allegoria' was hit by a major issue with the main engine next to Freeport after its departure from Caucedo on May 15, 2018. The vessel dropped anchor on Freeport roads on May 18 at 12.50 p.m. and was waiting for repairs. Hapag Lloyd since has reorganized vessels in the service and updated the MGX schedule to ensure a weekly sailing rate. It was being planned that the 'Allegoria' would continue its journey from Miami on May 30. The ship is implemented in the company's Mediterranean Gulf Express (MGX) service that connects America with the Mediterranean.
