KOREA's Hanjin Shipping has announced that it has taken delivery of the 10,000-TEU Hanjin Netherlands, capable of 25.1 knots and bound for Asia Europe service in April.
This is the second of the series of five 113,515-ton ships, each 349 metres long and 45.6 metres wide, built by Samsung Heavy Industries. The remaining ships are to be delivered later this year.
"We are convinced that investing in various sizes of vessels is necessary in the long-run," said Hanjin Shipping president and CEO Young Min Kim at the naming ceremony.
