The 'Maersk Edmonton' ran aground while entering Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia, on June 14, 2018 at noon. Two tugs immediately came to assist, and the ship was freed within less than 30 minutes. The tugs pulled the vessel to the Singapore West Anchorage where it moored in pos. 01° 14.37' N 103° 30.80' E.
