On July 8, 2018, the 'Rheya' ran aground near the port of Souvala, Aegina, with a crew of two on board. A patrol boat and the SAR boat 'Maltezos 1' came to assist the yacht. The latter pulled it off again and it was escorted to the port of Aegina where it was detained by the Port Authority until an inspection by the attending classification society and submission of a certificate of seaworthiness.
