Grounding in Saattut

The "Pajuttaat" ran aground on Sep 2, 2017, in Sauattut in the Uummannaq district. No one was injured, the ship refloated with own means and headed to Aasiaat to unload its cargo and have surveys of the hull by divers. The investigation showed that the damage was so significant that the ship was taken out of service and headed to Nuuk for repairs which were expected to take two months. The "Ivalo Arctica" took over the next five supply trips in the Arctic rotation.
