The Ship Brokers Association (GBD) will address current developments in the Gulf, one of the most critical regions of global maritime trade, as part of its 'Our Route is Information' seminar series.
The event will bring together leading figures in the sector, and the effects of ongoing geopolitical tensions in the region on maritime transportation will be evaluated from multiple perspectives. The seminar will provide significant insights to industry professionals, with analyses covering a wide range of topics from logistics to operational processes in light of recent developments.
Risks and strategies will be discussed.
During the seminar, topics such as the reflections of war and geopolitical tensions on maritime trade, maritime safety practices, insurance processes, and risk management will be addressed with contributions from expert guests. Participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from experts about the current risks in the sector and the strategies developed to counter these risks.

The event will feature speakers including Ülkem Gürdeniz, General Manager of Lockton Omni, Hilal Er, Operations Manager of ESKO Marine Security, and Engin Koçak, a member of the GBD Board of Directors. The seminar will be moderated by Nevzat Sonay Üler, also a member of the GBD Board of Directors.
