    At 0408 Moscow time Jan 16 2011 MRCC Moscow received report from MRCC Novorossiysk – two general cargo vessels collided in Azov sea in 46 51 08 N 037 33 44 E, m/v Onix and m/v Amur-2505. Onix got a hole in ballast tanks area No 7,8 and in fuel tank of 50 c m volume with 20 mt of diesel oil in it, but no spill reported, maybe due to night time.

    Superstructure and bridge also damaged. Vessel listed, but after taking ballast in starboard tanks got on even keel, main engine switched off, generator running. Amur-2505 slightly damaged in bow area. Owner of Onix setlled towage, at 1630 Jan 16 m/v Fobos started twoing Onix to Kerch port, Amur-2505 also proceeding to Kerch for repairs. Vessels arrived Kerch road 1000 Moscow time Jan 17, off MRCC control.
