The 'Hekla', en route from Klaipeda to Cork with a ccrew of eight on board, carrying 3.300 tonnes of fertilizer and 56.5 tonnes of MGO, suffered an engine failure in position 51 08 15N, 01 34 24.6E on July 9, 2018. The problem was fixed in 30 minutes and the vessel resumed the voyage to Cork.
