    General cargo Cherokee ran aground in the morning hours Nov 2 2010 on river Don near Lisichansk, enroute Rostov-on-Don – Turkey with scrap. Vessel ran aground just above oil pipeline but didn’t damage it, as pipeline crossing Don is buried 2-3 meters below river bed.

Cherokee IMO 8867210, dwt 5334, built 1992, flag Malta.
