The Ministry of National Defense has announced the deployment of the 'MCM Black Sea Task Group', which includes naval vessels from Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria. This operation commenced on January 9, 2026, with the Turkish command ship TCG Üsteğmen Arif Ekmekçi and other vessels gathering in Umuryeri, Istanbul.
The ships began their mission on January 10, 2026, and will conduct training exercises and port visits in Burgas and Constanta until January 19, 2026.
