On Aug 28, 2018, at 12.30 p.m. the 'Skogsøyjenta -VA-134-M' allided with a pier in Skudeneshavn. The crew of two was not injured, but the bow of the vessel was crushed, and it suffered severe water ingress. The fire rescue was alerted and tried to dewater the ship, but it turned out that a mobile crane would be needed to raise the bow so far that the leak came out of the water.
