After a fishing vessel ran aground in the Husværfjord in Herøy on Aug 9, 2018, at 7.30 a.m., the 'Ro North' was first on scene and rescued the crew of two with its MOB. The fisherman were taken to safety only 15 miinutes after the mayday call. A rescue helicopter from Ørlandet was alerted, but could be stood down. In the foremidday work was on to refloat the grounded vessel.
