    The salvage of the 'Christiane Deymann 1', 3066 ts (EU-No.: 02324750; MMSI-No.: 244690214; CS: PD4463) and ‚Christiane Deymann 2‘. 2030 ts (ENI-No.: 02323261), were going ahead. In the evening of July 11 the 'Christiane Deymann 2' could be refloated after having been lightered and was towed into the port of Diehl. Once the lightering of steel coils from the 'Christiane Deymann 1' was completed on July 12 too, teh ship was to follow on July 12. In the port of Diehl both units were to be inspected and in case no significant damage had occurred reloaded. Ship traffic on the Rhine could pass with caution and reduced speed. The fire brigade Colonia remained ready to attend in case something went wrong during the salvage work. The barges had got stuck on July 10 at 11.30 a.mn. an route from Kehl to Mülheim/Ruhr when leaving the fairway in order to let another barge pass. The 'Chrstiane Deymann 2' was liftet 20 centimeters when getting stuck. The investigations of the water police Duisburg were continued and the crew interrogated.
