The LCT 'Lite Ferry 28' caught fire while approaching Taloot Wharf, Argao, in southeast Cebu, upon its arrival from Tagbilaran, Bohol, in the morning of Sep 2, 2018. The ship with 97 passengers and 27 crew membrs on board was 300 meters away from the pier, when the fire broke out on the cargo deck. All passengers and a non-essential part of the crew were evacuated, but some remained on board to fight the fire.
