    Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a ship dismantling facility in Aliağa, İzmir, which ignited around 4 PM today.

    Firefighters are intervening in a fire that broke out in a scrap yard belonging to a company within the ship dismantling facilities located in the Aliağa district of İzmir.

    The fire occurred around 4:00 PM in the scrap yard of a company operating in the ship dismantling facilities area. Citizens who noticed the fire reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

    Operations have commenced.

    Upon notification, teams from the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department were dispatched to the area. The teams that arrived at the scene began efforts to control and extinguish the fire.

    The teams' intervention to extinguish the fire is ongoing.
