The 'Alexandra L' suffered a breakdown at Kyllini on June 24, 2018, at 6.45 a.m. and was immobilized at the quay until 5.30 p.m. The ferry had already taken on board 88 passengers and cars when a sewater intake in the main engine was remarked. After an inspection the ship was detained until repairs were carried out. The 'Andraa Kalvos' and 'Fiorio' of the Ionian Group took over the servicing of passengers, vehicles and busses on the routes Kyllini-Kefalonia and Kyllini-Zakynthos due to the damage.
