The 'Andros Jet' with 46 passengers on board ran aground in Gavrio upon Andrsos island on Aug 17, 2018, at 8 a.m., while maneuvering in port. The 46 passengers were taken off by two patrol boats and three private boats and taken to Gavrio. The ferry which had a crew of 27 on board was to be surveyed by divers prior to refloating.
