The 'Ulysses' was due to leave Belfast Dry Dock on July 25 ,at 5 p.m. in case there were no last minute setbacks. She was scheduled for the sailing at 8 a.m. on July 26 from Dublin, one day earlier than planned. Trials were to take place on the way back to her homeport.
