On Jan 9, 2018, the 'Eurocargo Istanbul' sustained problems to the engine and anchored off Orosei Gulf. The tug 'Falisca' arrived from Trapani to assist the ship that could not proceed with own engines. Ot was taken in tow to Cagliari. The ferry had been enroute from Leghorn to Cagliari with a cargo of trailersand 27 persons on board.
