THE third edition of the Air Cargo Thought Leadership Summit organised by Kale Logistics Solutions - CLEAR VIEW 2018 - held in Bangkok, Thailand focused on air cargo handling and related infrastructure, regulatory and industry initiatives, e-commerce and new markets for air cargo. CLEAR VIEW is a pioneering interactive platform of 25-30 chief experience officers (CXOs), which has attracted participation from IATA, TIACA, Alibaba, Dnata, Saudi Arabian Airlines, CSC, TIFFA, CargoWorks, leading airlines, cargo handlers, industry associations, regulators and prominent industry consultants from North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

The CLEAR VIEW summit provides stakeholders the opportunity to discuss industry issues in a round table format. The summit endeavours to ensure that a collective voice of the industry gets collated and the industry itself can assemble a charter for enabling possible strategies and viable solutions to the challenges faced by the air cargo industry, reported London's Loadstar.

'CLEAR VIEW brings together industry leaders, sharing their views and vision on industry relevant trends and challenges. The setup allows for in-depth discussions and are concluded by defining action points,' said Brussels Airport Company head of cargo Steven Polmans.

'The value brought by the discussions was immense. The call for action can become a force to reckon with. All of us have an opportunity and duty to bring the industry to that level so that the baton is passed on in the right manner. Then, of course, it is for the next generation to run with it and make it even better,' added ACCIS CEO P Balasubramanian.
