It had just departed the Zandvliet Lock to Flushing when it experienced engine problems at 02.35 a.m. The crew dropped anchor at buoy 71 and rectified the problem the same day. A tug went on standby. The vessel has heaved anchor and resumes its voyage towards the Panama Canal.
