On July 4, 2018, the 'Urgence' suffered a technical failure, at Izmir where it had berthed at 7.25 a.m., ccoming from Rijeka. The vessel's departure permission was cancelled by Maritime Authority, until completion of permanent repairs. After repair works were carried out by the crew at Izmir TCDD port, the ship sailed again on July 6 at 10.20 a.m. bound to Varna, ETA July 10, 2 p.m.
