    Engine failure in Red Sea

The "Alminufiyah" suffered engine failure 190 miles south of Jeddah, Red Sea, while ballasting from Dammam Saudi Arabia to Suez, in July. The last available AIS dated July 6, when the vessel was under way with six knots. A salvage tug was contracted from an Egyptian tugs operating company to pull the ship to Suez (Tawfiq).
