    Soon after she left the port of Southampton enroute to Warrenpoint on Jan 22, the 'Mekhanik Yartsev', carrying 2580 metric tonnes of timber, was reported as not under command and repairs were being conducted on a small oil pipe to the main engine, in position 50 37 33N, 01 34 34W in the night

    Soon after she left the port of Southampton enroute to Warrenpoint on Jan 22, the 'Mekhanik Yartsev', carrying 2580 metric tonnes of timber, was reported as not under command and repairs were being conducted on a small oil pipe to the main engine, in position 50 37 33N, 01 34 34W in the night. The repairs were completed at 12.36 p.m., the engines were restarted and the vessel was presently again underway to its destination, making 10 knots.
