The 'Caldera Vista' during its scheduled service from Iraklion to Thira, Mykonos, Tinos and return, with 39 passengers on board, suffered damage to its starboard main engine on July 27, 2018, about 9,7 miles northwest of Paros. The vessel was able to reach the port of Thira, where it was detained until the engine was repaired and a class maintenance certificate was issued. On completion of its repair works, the vessel was permitted to resume its scheduled service. It sailed again at 6 p.m., bound to Iraklion.
