On Aug 14, 2018, the Paxos Port Authority was informed by the captain of the 'Ilida II', that during its scheduled service from the Gaios port in Paxos to Corfu a strong vibration in the main machine had occurred. The vessel returned to Paxos with conventional propulsion and dropped off the 77 passengers, who were forwarded to their destination with the ferry 'Odysseas'. The Port Authority detained the 'Ilida II' until the damages were repaired and the class maintenance confirmation was presented by the classification society.
