    On December 12, 2025, at 10:38, earthquake panic struck Japan once again. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) announced that a 6.7 magnitude earthquake occurred off the eastern coast of Aomori Prefecture. The tremor was recorded at a depth of 20 kilometers at 11:44 local time.

    Japan experienced earthquake panic once again. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) announced that a 6.7 magnitude earthquake occurred off the eastern coast of Aomori Prefecture.

    The tremor was recorded at a depth of 20 kilometers at 11:44 AM local time, and tsunami warnings were issued for the Pacific coasts of Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi Prefectures, and Hokkaido.

    Authorities warned that tsunami waves could reach heights of up to 1 meter and urged residents to move away from coastal areas.
