On July 30, 2018, the Mexican Maritime Authorities made a statement on a dysentery outbreak on board of the 'Mariano Abasolo', which was moored on Campeche Anchorage in the Gulf of Mexico. 17 crew members had to be treated urgently. A special medical team was dropped off on board by the Mexican Navy. All affected crew members could remain on board under medical observance, and the outbreak was reported to be under control.
