The 'Kamskaya' (546 gt, built 1983), ran aground in the southern section of the Kerch Strait due to inclement weather conditions, on Sep 8, 2018. The vessel dragged its anchor due to the strong winds and then ran aground. The midships section of the hull was sitting on the bottom. It was planned to refloat the vessel with the assistance of a local port tug.
