    The Don Candido Ro-Ro vessel is up for auction in Yalova, starting at 66.4 million TL, due to debts and requiring significant maintenance.

    The Ro-Ro vessel named Don Candido, which is anchored in Yalova, has been put up for auction due to debts. It was announced that the estimated price set for the ship during the sale process conducted by the Yalova Enforcement Office is 66 million 400 thousand TL.

    The vessel, registered under the flag of Equatorial Guinea and built in 1980, is operated by Savmar Solutions. During the technical inspections of the approximately 99.5-meter-long ship, maintenance deficiencies and various structural issues were identified. According to official records, there is a significant accumulation of algae and mussels on the waterline, and it was also stated that the electrical systems and navigation equipment require maintenance.

    The sales announcement also included information indicating that the ship needs paint renewal, steel replacement, and maintenance of the crane wires. It was reported that the auction for Don Candido will take place on May 27.
