DHL raises its 2026 EBIT guidance to exceed EUR7 billion following robust Q3 performance, driven by strong demand in the Express division.
DHL has issued a preliminary third-quarter results announcement and raised its full-year 2026 performance guidance for the second time. The company now projects group earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to exceed EUR7 billion, up from the previous guidance of more than EUR6.5 billion.
DHL's management has conducted a comprehensive assessment of the business outlook across all divisions for the remainder of the year. Sustained profit growth momentum—driven in particular by the strong performance of the Express division—has positioned the group to revise its full-year 2026 guidance upward, with group EBIT now expected to surpass EUR7 billion.
Turning to third-quarter 2026 operating performance, broad-based demand growth and solid overall profitability momentum characterized the period, with the DHL Express division delivering especially strong results. Group revenue rose more than 12 percent year-on-year to approximately EUR22.6 billion, while group EBIT reached approximately EUR1.71 billion, representing year-on-year growth of around 16 percent.
At the divisional level, DHL Express recorded third-quarter EBIT of approximately EUR1.035 billion, a marked increase from EUR692 million in the prior-year period. DHL Global Forwarding contributed approximately EUR260 million in EBIT for the quarter, DHL Supply Chain delivered approximately EUR300 million, and the e-commerce division generated approximately EUR50 million.
DHL will publish its complete third-quarter 2026 financial results on 5 November.
