The 'Medkon Izmir' suffered engine failure at Alexandria around June 15, 2018
The 'Medkon Izmir' suffered engine failure at Alexandria around June 15, 2018. After it turned out that repairs could not be carried out by the crew, the tug 'Paris' was appointed to tow the vessel to the Tuzla shipyard area. On June 26 the ships arrived at Tuzla anchorage. Upon completion of formalities, the 'Medkon Izmir' entered a shipyard at noon. A class surveyor went on board in order to ascertain extent of damages and methods of repairs.
