The 'Flying Dolphin XVIII' was unable to lift and operate its hydrofoil engines while leaving Piraeus, possibly due to an object entangling the propeller on Sep 14 Sep, 2018. The ferry returned to port with conventional engines and was detained until repairs were completed.
