    A very large containership CSCL Jupiter has run aground on the banks of the river Scheldt blocking access to the Port of Antwerp.

    On Monday morning the CSCL Jupiter ran aground when leaving the Port of Antwerp heading towards Hamburg. When taking the Bath bend on the Westerschelde, the ship run aground the sandbank near the town of Bath in the Netherlands. No news yet if it was a pilot or technical error. The weather conditions where perfect to navigate. Currently all traffic for large ships is halted on the Westerschelde.
