Stormy winds have battered Victoria with the 'Astor' being wedged up against a pier in Melbourne on Feb 19, 2018. A severe weather warning was in place for damaging winds of up to 100km/h in Melbourne's eastern suburbs and elevated areas including the Yarra Ranges by the Bureau of Meteorology. Tugs had to assist the 'Astor' which was blown onto the edge of Station Pier at St Kilda in the evening. The ship meanwhile left port and headed to Hobart.
