Cruise ship held in port due to safety issues

The "Majesty of the Seas" was held from leaving Port Canaveral following a safety inspection on Feb 13, 2017. The issue was discovered during a routine annual safety check by the US Coast Guard. It had to do with the life-saving equipment on board. The Coast Guard will not allow the ship to leave the port until the issues are fixed. Once the issues have been addressd, they would send a team to check, and then they’ll be on their way.
