    In the evening of Apr 8, 2015, the broke off her moorings in a storm and was puhsed against the pier no. 7 in Malaga, damaging 150 meters of the quay.

    Cruise ship "Deutschland" damaged 150 meters quay line In the evening of Apr 8, 2015, the broke off her moorings in a storm and was puhsed against the pier no. 7 in Malaga, damaging 150 meters of the quay.  Also an underground water pipe running parallel to the dock, was damaged as well as two fenders.  With the intention to embark several inspectors of a prospective buyer, the "Deutschland" had docked at the pier with the help of the tug "Vehintiocho" when under wind force one of the mooring lines broke.  The ship was secured at dock 7 several hours later the accident.  In the morning of Apr 9 morning technicians of the Port Authority assessed the damage to the area so that no ship could dock.  On Apr 9 at 1 a.m. the ship left the port, bound for Almería.
