Cruise ship allided with quay in Nassau
The "Disney Dream" allided with a pier as she was docking in the morning of Sep 30, 2017, in Nassau. The stern hit a block of the pier which caused a dent above the water line at the starboard side. Crews started preparing everything to fix the dent and paint around the areas of the stern which were affected. Damage was also done to the pier. The current three-night sailing of the "Disney Dream" was not affected by the accident, and she will continue through its itinerary for a return to Port Canaveral in the morning of Oct 2. There has been no word yet if the four-night sailing leaving on Monday will be altered or delayed by Disney Cruise Line due to the allision.The ship previously had to make changes to Caribbean voyages due to Hurricane Irma.
